The Arvida Book Co. Foundation's mission is to expand access to literature and literacy, support emerging and established local writers, and strengthen community through cultural programming rooted in the literary arts.

Our dream since opening Arvida Book Co. in 2020 was a community in which every resident has access to books, to the writers who create them, and to a literary community growing around them regardless of income, background, or circumstance. In early 2025 we officially launched the Arvida Book Co. Foundation to support that work and have since partnered with the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to launch the first branch in Orange County, CA.
