With a history stretching back to 1982, The Ear is a community-college based literary journal open to submissions from Orange County and beyond. In the pages of our annual print and digital journal, you can find the work of celebrated authors and artists in addition to work published for the first time. We also have a podcast called The Eardrum where we interview local authors, change makers, and members of the IVC campus community.
